MPS Advertising Policy - Manitoba Psychological Society

The Manitoba Psychological Society, as a service to our members and the community, offers the opportunity to advertise to our membership.

Advertising related to career opportunities, office availability, continuing education related to the practice of psychology, and research will be accepted.
Advertising will be sent via direct emailing to our members and a link will be placed on our website.
Ad design must be completed by the advertiser.

Note: The Manitoba Psychological Society offers two major continuing education events that are key sources of funding. To avoid conflict with our own advertising for these events, advertisement of continuing education events other than those offered by MPS will be accepted from May to September and from November to March.

Fees (for one direct emailing and link on website)

Office availability, career opportunities, continuing education

$150 for non-members placing the ad
Reduced fee of $100 for members placing personal ads (not on behalf of an organization)
$75 for additional mailing and link posting extended

Only one continuing education event will be advertised per advertisement.

Research

$150 for non-members placing the ad

Members who wish to solicit participants in their research may submit a description of their research and contact information for direct emailing to our membership, at no cost.
Student researchers who are not members of Manitoba Psychological Society and/or not residents of Manitoba may submit a description of their research and contact information for direct emailing to our membership, for a fee of $75.
Information about the research and a link or contact information should be provided. Surveys will not be sent directly to our members.

Advertisements for non-profit enterprises that may be of benefit for MPS members

Costs may be reduced at the discretion of the Manitoba Psychological Society Executive Director.
