Personal Data

MPS only gathers personal information like names or email addresses when provided by you, typically through emails or contact forms. Such information is used for responding to inquiries, service provision, and informing you of updates or events. We’re committed to the accuracy and security of your data and adhere to strict protocols to safeguard it, including not sharing it without consent. Personal information that is shared via email will be communicated to office personnel (e.g., administrative assistant, webmaster, board members) who require this information to respond to inquiries.

MPS does collect personal information that is necessary for the provision of certain services (e.g., attendance at a continuing education event, placing an advertisement) and for processing membership applications.  Personal information may also be used to contact you regarding updates or to provide you with news, offers, and general information about events unless you have opted not to receive such information.  We may also use personal information for data analysis, identifying usage trends, and to improve our services and your experience.

MPS protects personal information in a manner that is appropriate for the sensitivity of that information.  We make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, disclosure, or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information.  We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of MPS unless we have obtained your consent.  Please note that your consent is implied if you identify yourself as a member of MPS when applying for insurance through BMS.  In this situation MPS may be asked to verify your membership with our association.
