Support Networks and Their Available Resources

With Colette Currin

Counsellor and National Director of Business Development for Military, Veterans, and First Responders, EHN Canada

Many studies show that social support systems can help overcome denial and the potential for relapse that can hinder an individual’s successful treatment. Because of this, program leads often view friends and family as valuable members of the treatment team. As someone who is supporting an individual with their recovery journey, it is important to know what resources are made available to you and what may be the best course of action. Join Colette Currin on Thursday, February 24 as she provides her expertise on Support Networks and Their Available Resources. Colette will identify key resources that members of an individual’s support network can access and identify their key differences to act as a guide.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Define the role support networks play in an individual’s recovery journey
  • Identify the importance and differences of available resources and groups
  • Introduction to local aftercare groups and programming available to support networks

Date: February 24, 2022 – 12pm ET, 9am PT

Duration: 1-hour (45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A)

Cost: COMPLIMENTARY

This webinar provides 1.0 CEU credits recognized by the CACCF, CCPA, MDPAC, and CVRP.
