Clinical Associate Employment Opportunity

Dr. Katherine Kovachik is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Associate with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent graduate-level clinical training (e.g., PsyD program) to join Ursa Psychology in River Heights.
This position is ideal for a clinician nearing completion of graduate training who is seeking high-level, real-world experience in trauma-focused psychological practice within occupational and interprofessional systems, with meaningful earning potential.
The associate will have dedicated in-office days on Thursdays and Fridays, with the option to extend clinical hours into Saturdays/weekends as desired. These consistent clinic days allow for efficient caseload development and structured client scheduling.
The primary caseload will consist of system-funded occupational injury and trauma-related referrals, which can be provided quickly, allowing the associate to build a full caseload within a short timeframe.
You will:
- Provide trauma-focused psychological treatment under supervision
- Develop structured report-writing skills for third-party systems
- Gain additional exposure to psychodiagnostic assessment
- Collaborate within interprofessional teams (e.g., OT, family physicians, psychiatry)
- Work alongside case managers and employer supports in return-to-work planning
- Participate in monthly group case consultation
Direct supervision will be provided by Dr. Kovachik.
Hourly remuneration: Very competitive.
