SASKATCHEWAN COLLEGE OF PSYCHOLOGISTS DEPUTY REGISTRAR
The Saskatchewan College of Psychologists (www.skcp.ca), the regulatory body for psychologists, invites applications for the a part-time (.5 FTE) position of Deputy Registrar.
Reporting to the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar will, under the authority of the Psychologists Act 1997: support the work of various committees of the College as required, and support the work of the Registrar such as: develop and administer policies, research and develop advisories; register new applicants; provide information on the College at various forums. Responsibilities are performed according to the policies of the College, ethical standards, professional practice guidelines and positive public relations.
Minimum qualifications: Registered Full Practice Psychologist; 5+ yrs. of Full Practice licensure experience; regulatory and association experience is an asset; commitment to the mandate and strategic goals of the College; knowledge of professional and ethical issues, of psychology regulation, and of legislative and political processes; strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, clear communication and analytical skills; reliable and independent work ethic; demonstrated experience in teamwork environments. Some travel and flexibility in terms of work hours are required.
Position location: Regina.
Start date: to be negotiated.
Salary range: $95,000.00 – 116,000.00 (salary will be prorated to part-time rate).
