Tele-Assessment of Children: Moving Towards a New Future for Psychology

The world has changed, and with it the practice of psychology. In this workshop, we discuss the practice of psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment of children and conducting standardized psychological assessment in tele-psychology environments.

Hear three esteemed experts discuss tele-assessment:

  • Jordan Wright, PhD, ABAP, Director of the Center for Counseling and Community Wellbeing at New York University, and co-author of the APA guidelines on tele-assessment.
  • Susan Raiford, PhD, Clinical Psychologist, Senior Research Director at Pearson and Wechsler Team Lead.
  • Derek Truscott, PhD, Professor of Counselling Psychology in the Department of Educational Psychology and Adjunct Professor with the John Dossetor Health Ethics Centre at the University of Alberta.

This webinar panel format session will include short lectures from the speakers, followed by a Q&A session. Participants will have a chance to submit questions in advance as well as in the chat.

To celebrate Psychology Month, the Manitoba Psychological Society has organized a variety of educational seminars for the public on a wide variety of psychology-related topics.
